BUSINESS COMMUNICATION: THE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

This is an intensive interactive workshop in communication skills for the global marketplace which includes a review of current spoken and written business and technical language and style. The knowledge and ability to use accepted business vocabulary and style does not guarantee clear communication in the international business environment. The culture and rules of business etiquette of each are different. This program covers the two essential elements of international communication: language and culture. It demonstrates the importance of cultural awareness, sensitivity and flexibility in the success of any international business venture or exchange, and develops the important skills needed for cultural competency in business.
