The foundation for effective empowerment and self-management are visions and goals of all companies. Shared purpose, direction and objectives are the threads that bind departments and teams together. These elements should be considered while making all business decisions, whether prioritizing, training, hiring, evaluating or rewarding. The skills for creating interdepartmental visions and goals are essential for both every day operations and continuous improvement activities of all executives and managers. The participants will be exposed to identifying the importance of visioning and goal setting to empowerment and self management through interdepartmental strategic planning.
