In order to qualify for the skilled migration
program applicants must pass a points test and
satisfy some basic requirements. These include:

* You must have an acceptable level of English
language proficiency;
* You must have post-secondary school qualifications
or work experience relevant to your nominated
occupation;
* Your nominated occupation must appear on Skilled
Occupations List;
* You must be able to demonstrate recent work
experience;
* You must have your skills accessed prior to
applying to migrate; and
* Points are awarded to applicants with Australian
qualifications.
